Cartoon explaining OneSearch

OneSearch is our all-in-one search tool. It enables you to search and retrieve books/e-books, non-print physical items (DVDs, look books), online journal articles, and other digital collections all in one place. It searches our collection and the book collections of other SUNY libraries.

OneSearch is a great place to get started with a research project, especially one that requires books and current magazines, and journal articles.  It can also be used to find out if the library has your textbook.

OneSearch searches a lot, but it doesn’t search everything. We call these resources “OneSearch Exceptions,” and you will be learning more about these in the final module.
