All Library Personalities
Take a look at all four FIT Library personalities. Which one did you get?
We are multifaceted people. Whatever library personality type you ended up with, taking the quiz, we all share various qualities depending on context. Maybe you’re usually The Camper, but that doesn’t mean you can never be The Secret Agent!
The Camper: You need space to spread out your tools, your books, and personal technology. You’ll find lots of places on the 4th, 5th, and 6th floors to camp out and get projects done (noise levels may vary). Forgot your textbook? Come by the Library Services Desk to see if we have it on reserve or as an ebook!
The Social Butterfly: You don’t always do group work, but you always work in a group. The 6th floor is a great place to meet up with friends, and the group study room, e605, can be booked in advance! The library hosts many student club events and other activities on the 6th floor. Follow us on our social media channels to learn more.
The Serenity Seeker: You prefer peace and solitude in a soothing space. Check out our Periodicals Reading Room (4th Floor), our Mindfulness Corner (5th Floor), or our quiet study rooms e404 and e521. Now, we also have new sound proof pods on the 6th floor!
The Secret Agent: Independent and possibly shy, you prefer to get what you need and leave. You use the library but rarely interact with others. You should look into our book request service on OneSearch, self-checkout options on the 5th Floor, and our online databases. If you need help but don’t want to talk to anyone, you can chat online using our Ask the Library service.
